Why does the water flow slow down from whirlpool ukf8001 filter?

The bypass cap should have come with the refrigerator. If your filter gets plugged up you can replace the filter with the bypass cap until you get a new filter. Or use it if you have good water and don’t need a filter.

How to install it?

Follow the steps given below
1、Open the lid turn left to take off the old filter.
2、Soak the new filter in water for three minutes.
3、Remove the filter from the water, wipe it, and aim at the hole. Turn right to install the new filter.
4、After installation, rinse off 3 gallons of water before starting to drink.
