My product leaves the factory with a thin layer of dust. Is this a used product?

The GLACIERFRESH Refrigerator Air Purification Filter 7007067 contains activated carbon which is used in conjunction with multiple parts of the filter to remove impurities from the refrigerator. Because there are openings on the top and bottom of the filter, some charcoal may shift during transportation and clot thin charcoal on the outer side. This is normal and not the result of equipment damage. Before installing, just wipe the machine with a paper towel.

When I shake the filter, why does it sound broken in the Glacier Fresh Air Filter?

There is a small UV bulb that can help clean the air inside the refrigerator. When you shake the air filter, the charcoal will hit the light bulb and it sounds like the device is broken. This is perfectly normal. The unit is usually not damaged.

How to operate it?

The PURE AIR button on the device control panel can turn the air purification system on or off.
The air purification icon looks like a piece of paper with 3 wavy lines on it.
1. If the icon does not exist, the air purification system is turned off.
2. If this icon is present and not blinking, the air purification system is turned on.
3. If the icon is present and flashing, you need to replace the air purification box.
